Located of Lawrence Hargrave Drive and along a private road, this home is the ultimate in privacy and serenity. Take in the brilliant night sky, slumber to the sound of waves and wake to the sound of birds flitting in and out of the trees.

Clifton is an often forgotten slice of the escarpment coastline, sprung from a small tract of land immediately below the escarpment. This part of the coast was first discovered by shipwreck survivors, the coal on its cliffs proving to be their salvation and driving an industry that created the whole city. The coal mine set up a school for its workers which was then developed into a more substantial building across the road now the beautiful Clifton Arts School. The coasts stunning views and enchanting forest have long inspired artists and writers and continues to do so.

From here you can wander along the Sea Cliff Bridge marvelling at the feat of engineering that literally has you floating above the ocean. Walk its length and turn off to Coalcliff and head to its charming thebeach with its pebbly foreshore, ocean pool and gorgeous rock pools.

This is a place to escape time, stress and traffic and be consumed by the raw natural beauty of the landscape. When you are ready for a faster pace head to Scarborough Pub and the hubs at Austinmer or Thirroul for some shopping, coffee and people watching.

This provides a comfortable nook for each member of the family to take time out as well as come together. Concertina doorsfold open to an outdoor yet undercover dining area inviting the outside in. The lounge features a TV, DVD player and stereo.

The open plan galley kitchen features a five burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, Breville Coffee machine and two door fridge/freezer.

Spend warm summer days preparing a feast in the built-in outdoor kitchen complete with large BBQ. Dine al fresco while enjoying the spectacular views.
